Concrete Wall Waterproofing

Waterproofing solutions for leaking concrete block walls in wet weather

The Process

To waterproof your block walls, we first eliminate moss with our King Kole moss kill. Next, we clean the surfaces with a waterblaster. We apply two thick coats of Noxyde, an elastomeric coating with 200% flexibility. This ensures long-lasting protection against water. Similar treatment is used for Super Six roofs. Choose from a limited colour range to personalise your roof's appearance.

Customer Stories

Our experience with waterproofing block walls started some years ago when we manufactured our Kowhai roof paint.  For one client, we successfully waterproofed the concrete block walls of his companies offices and as a result we were asked to coat his extensive factory walls using the same two coats after the prep.

Unfortunately, the factory leaked and it took a few weeks to come up with the problem.  We discovered it was due to the cheaper blocks which were more porous.  We had successfully waterproofed the walls however as they were more porous, the holes remained.  The walls were now waterproofed but capillary action meant that the walls leaked more than before.

Fortunately it was then easy fix because at the time we manufactured a flexible paint and applied it onto the walls which fixed the problem.  With 200% greater flexibility, this product effectively waterproofs porous concrete blocks. There is a limited range of colours from white to black, two shades of green, two reddy browns as well as a blue.  If none of these suit they can be painted over with a quality paint to last.  The same product waterproofs Super Six roofs as well.
